Description

The railings and gates located to the north of number 118½ on Shoreditch High Street date from the 18th century. They are tall, thin wrought iron structures featuring lampholders at the corners and a gate with a spiked overthrow, likely imported. To the east, there is a short 18th-century brick wall. These railings and gates, along with the Church of St Leonard and number 118½, form a cohesive architectural group.
