Description

The pump on the west side of the Chapter House is a simple cast iron hand pump dating from 1819. It features a shaped top and is inscribed with the words "Erected by St Faith's Parish 1819." Originally, the pump was located against the railings of St Paul's Churchyard near St Paul's Cross, but it was moved to its current position in 1973. It also includes a trough.
