Description
The Chapter House of St Paul's Cathedral, built in 1712 by Sir Christopher Wren, is a plain building featuring three storeys plus a basement. The front has seven windows, while the return side has three. It is constructed of red brick with cut mouldings and serves Portland stone. There are pedimented doorways at either end of the front, and a band runs below the top storey. The building is topped with a cornice and a panelled parapet, leading to a modern copper roof. The interior was rebuilt after World War II.
