Description
Nos 56 to 60 on New Broad Street is an early 20th-century office building, notable for its ground storey altered by C.F.A. Voysey. The exterior features a hanging metal sign and an entrance door with ornamental hinges. Inside, the front office retains two chimney pieces made of black marble or slate, one of which includes a clock. There is also a single panel of stained glass and plain oak wainscot with a cupboard. An oak staircase with newels and plain balusters adds to the interior's interest. However, these fittings no longer have a coherent setting in their current positions.
