Description

Essex Court, located in Middle Temple, was built in 1685 by Nicholas Barbon. This four-storey building is constructed of red brick and features a wooden eaves-cornice beneath a tiled roof. The entrance includes a doorway supported by brackets that hold up a broken segmental pediment. On the south side, there is a painted wooden sundial.
