Description

Number 16 is a terraced house located on Took's Court, dating from around 1720 and refronted in the early 19th century. It is constructed of yellow stock brick and consists of three storeys and a basement, featuring two windows. The entrance has a pound-arched doorway with a modern radial fanlight, reeded jambs, a moulded transom, and a panelled door. The windows have gauged red brick flat arches, with the ground floor window being tripartite. Wrought iron balconies adorn the ground and first floor windows, and there is a parapet at the top.

The interior has not been inspected but is noted to retain some panelling. The staircase features a closed string, square panelled newels, turned balusters, and a moulded handrail. There are shaped shelves in a round backed cupboard located in the ground floor back room.

Additionally, the property has attached cast iron railings with urn finials surrounding the areas.
