Description

The remains of Christ Church, designed by Sir Christopher Wren, date from 1677 to 1691, with the tower completed in 1704. The structure features coursed rubble and Portland stone. Notably, the west tower and steeple are particularly fine, although the original urns have been replaced with fibre-glass. Currently, only five bays of the north wall and a fragment of the south wall of the church remain.
