Description
A pair of terraced houses, now combined into a single dwelling, was built around 1846 to 1850. The houses are constructed of multi-coloured stock brick, with a stuccoed ground floor and a band at the first floor level. They have a slated mansard roof with dormers, and two storeys plus an attic. Each house originally had two windows. Number 18 has a later inserted doorcase featuring pilasters, consoles, and an entablature with a tablet inscribed "Sundial House." It has a part-glazed panelled door. The ground floor windows are later three-light casements. The first floor has flush-framed sash windows with gauged red brick flat arches. At first-floor level in Number 18, a sundial is set into the facade, featuring cherub details. The interiors were not inspected. Attached to the front garden are cast-iron railings.
