Description
No. 54 Redington Road is a detached house built between 1908 and 1909 by CHB Quennell. The house is constructed of red brick and features rusticated brick quoins on the central bay. It has a tall hipped roof covered with tiles, which includes a central three-light sash dormer, tall brick chimney stacks, and overhanging bracketed eaves. The design is double fronted, with two storeys and an attic, and it has three windows. The central entrance is adorned with an early 18th century style scallop shell hood supported by shaped brackets, leading to a part patterned glazed panelled door. The first floor has a flush framed sash window with exposed boxing and a brick apron. The flanking bays feature five-light canted bowed bay sash windows on both the ground and first floors, with the bracketed eaves following the curved shape of the bays. The interior has not been inspected.
