Description

The iron gates located between numbers 20 and 21 on Montague Street lead to the rear garden. They were designed in 1899 for the Bedford Estate. The gates are made of cast and wrought iron and feature openwork box piers topped with floral finials. The gates themselves are adorned with scrolls, flowers, and central cartouches that are surmounted by coronets.
