Description
A group of three linked cottages, formerly dairy buildings, is located to the west of Kenwood House. These structures date from around 1795 and are possibly designed by George Saunders. The buildings have been altered over time. They are constructed of roughcast on brick with hipped slate roofs and wide eaves. The central cottage is two stories tall with a half hipped roof facing the courtyard, while it is connected by curved, buttressed walls to the single-story cottages. Each cottage features three windows with 20th-century glazing and 20th-century entrances. Although the interiors were not inspected, it is noted that the basement of the north block contains an icehouse.
