Description

St Mary's Church Hall, dating from the 1860s and likely designed by Horace Francis, is a building constructed from coursed Kentish ragstone with Bath stone dressings. It has slated roofs with crested ridge tiles and gables dividing it into five bays. The building is in the Gothic style and is single-storied, with six bays. It features paired entrances with panelled timber doors set beneath pointed arches, flanking a central window in the right-hand bay. The bays are articulated by buttresses with stone quoins and offsets. Each gabled bay includes a two-light traceried window. Inside, the hall has an open timber truss roof.
