Description

Number 64 is an early 19th-century house with attached railings. The front of the building is stuccoed. It has four storeys and a basement. The square-headed doorway has a fanlight above a double-panelled door. Corbels are located on either side of the entrance below a stone first-floor balcony with an iron balustrade. Most of the recessed sash windows retain their original glazing bars, and the ground-floor windows are topped with segmental arches. Ionic pilasters rise through the first and second floors, supporting an entablature with a dentil cornice. The fourth storey is an attic with sunk panel pilasters between the windows. Inside, the square balusters on the plain close string stairs, original fireplaces, and cornices remain. The building has attached cast-iron railings to the areas.
