Description
Lawn House is a detached house built around 1800, with some alterations from the late 18th century. It features brown brick construction with red brick dressings and aprons below the first-floor windows. The building has three storeys and a basement, with a total of four windows, plus a three-storey extension with one window at the west end. The entrance has an impressive early 19th-century prostyle portico supported by modified, fluted Doric columns and pilasters, along with a fluted frieze that includes roundels beneath a dentil cornice. The half-glazed door is topped with an overlight. The windows have gauged red brick flat arches and flush framed sashes, although the glazing is from the 20th century. The house has a parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
