Description

The Apple Tree Public House is a public house built in the mid-19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of grey stock brick and features stucco dressings. The building has three windows on the front, a three-window return, and a four-window, two-storey extension facing Warner Street. It stands three storeys high and includes cellars. The 20th-century wooden public house frontage has pilasters that support a fascia, along with original consoles and windows that contain small panes. The first-floor windows are segmental arched, four-pane sashes with moulded hoods and keystones, connected by impost bands. There is a moulded string course on the second floor, which features architraved sashes. The cornice is topped by a parapet that has pierced decoration. The interior has been altered.
