Description

No. 117 on Northgate Street is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of white brick and has a slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall and includes a cellar. It features a two-window range, with all windows being sashes that have a single vertical glazing bar in flush cased frames. The entrance consists of a 20th-century glazed door with small panes, accessed by three steps. Above the door is a rectangular fanlight with arched Gothic glazing bars, and the doorcase is adorned with panelled pilasters and a flat cornice hood supported by shaped brackets. The interior has not been inspected.
