Description

This house, located on the northeast corner of Church Lane in Barnham, dates from the mid-19th century. It is two storeys tall and constructed from rubble flint, featuring rusticated red brick quoins and dressings, topped with a black glazed pantiled roof. The building has two end chimney stacks that are set internally. There are two 3-light casement windows with horizontal glazing bars; the ground storey windows have arched heads within their brick surrounds. The entrance consists of a four-panelled door set in a plain surround, also with an arched head. At the rear, there is a one-and-a-half storey lean-to addition made from matching materials. This house is included for its group value.
