Description
The walled garden at Fornham Park was designed by James Wyatt for Sir Charles Kent. It is constructed of red brick, with some sections made of gault brick and features stone coping. The bothies, which have pantile roofs, are located within the garden. The tall brick walls form a complete circuit and include gateways with iron gates at the center of the north and south walls. The outer north wall has a continuous row of single-storey bothies, each with doorways and horizontal sliding sash windows. On both the inner and outer walls facing south, there are remnants of glass houses. This walled garden is part of a significant group of structures at Fornham Park.
