Description
The Lower Walled Garden near the River Lark at Fornham Park is a walled garden built around 1785 by James Wyatt for Sir Charles Kent. It is constructed of red brick with stone coping. The walls create three sides of a rectangle and feature gateways at the midpoints. The fourth side has always been left open to prevent frost from settling in this low-lying area. This garden is part of the significant group of structures at Fornham Park.
