Description

The north wall of the Great Court of the Abbey in Bury St Edmunds is a Grade I listed structure dating from the 12th century. It is primarily constructed of flint, with some coursed squared stone, and features stone buttresses at intervals. This wall extends 158 meters along the back of the buildings on the south side of Mustow Street and Angel Hill, forming the northern boundary of the Abbey Gardens. It is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
