The Gate House Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage featuring one storey and attics with dormers. It has a lobby entry located at the axial chimney stack. The structure is timber-framed and rendered in a herringbone pattern, topped with thatch. The windows are 19th and 20th-century casements.
