Description

The Gate House, formerly known as the Cottage House, is an early 19th-century building. It features three bays and stands two storeys tall, constructed of painted brick with a hipped slated roof. The windows are sash style, and the entrance door is a fielded six-panel design, complete with a semi-circular fanlight above it. There is also a one-storey porch from the 19th century.
