Description

Mardlands is a house dating from the early 17th century, featuring a three-cell lobby-entrance plan and two storeys. The building is timber-framed and rendered, topped with a pantiled roof that has axial and gable chimneys made of red brick. It has various 19th and 20th-century windows, along with a 19th-century panelled entrance door. Inside, there are back-to-back open fireplaces in the hall and parlour, and some of the timber-framing is exposed.
