Description

Edmunds Hill House, known as The Thatchers, is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered house located in Stradishall. It features a crosswing at the north end and a smaller cottage attached to the south end. The crosswing has a jettied gable and is two stories tall, with attics, while the rest of the building is one story with attics. The house has casement windows and a boarded door, and its thatched roof includes two gabled dormers. Inside, you will find exposed beam and joist ceilings.
