Description
No. 102 High Street is a house dating from around 1800. It has three windows and stands two storeys high with attics. The building is constructed of gault brick and features a string course at the first-floor level. It has dentil eaves and parapet gables with tumbled-in brickwork, along with end chimneys. The roof is plaintiled and includes segmental-headed lead-clad casement dormers. The windows have flat arches made of gauged brick and small-pane sashes. The entrance doorway is framed by a moulded architrave and has an enriched broken pediment supported by console brackets. The door consists of six fielded panels and is recessed between panelled reveals. To the left, there is a small original lean-to wing that has a ramped parapet gable and a pantiled roof.
