Description

3 Market Hill is a late 18th century or early 19th century timber-framed and plastered house. It stands three storeys tall and features one window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The ground storey window is larger and has vertical glazing bars, which were renewed in the 20th century and likely served as a small shop window in the past. The doorway is framed by a plain doorcase topped with a shallow hood supported by brackets. The roof is covered with slate. This building is part of a group of listed buildings that includes all the listed buildings in Market Hill, Church Street, Station Road, and Well Lane.
