Description

Cromwell Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century. It has one and a half storeys and attics, featuring a three-cell plan. The structure is timber-framed and rendered, topped with a thatched roof that includes axial chimneys made of red brick and gabled thatched casement dormers. The cottage has 20th-century casement windows and a glazed entrance door. Inside, there are back-to-back open fireplaces that serve both the hall and the parlour. The roof is constructed with clasped purlins.
