Description

Clovelly is a house built around 1840. It is constructed of gault brick and features rusticated quoins, a moulded band at the first floor with a dentil course, and another band beneath the upper windows that is connected to a shallow brick frame around each window. The roof is slated with parapet gables and internal chimneys made of gault brick. The house has two storeys and three windows, which are small-pane sashes with segmental heads. The entrance doorway has splayed reveals and an oblong fanlight above a four-panelled door. A flight of stone steps leads up to the entrance, flanked by cast iron balustrading with balusters designed as pierced panels.
