Description
Wickham Place is a former farmhouse dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slated roof. The building stands two storeys high with a symmetrical three-bay front. The widely-spaced inset sash windows have glazing bars and are set under wedge lintels. The doorway consists of an inset six-panel door with panelled reveals, topped by a three-centre arched fanlight that has radiating glazing bars beneath a moulded arch with a key. A Roman Doric porch made of stone, complete with a full entablature, frames the entrance, which is accessed by three stone steps. The two-bay returns also have similar widely-spaced windows.
