Description

This building, located about 35 meters southeast of Ronsyl, is a house that has been converted into three dwellings and a shop. It dates from the 17th century, with possible earlier origins, and underwent alterations in the early 18th century, followed by extensions and further changes in the early 19th century. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof, while the addition features slate roofing.

The house has a three-cell plan and is one storey with an attic, along with a two-storey addition to the right. The main range includes three four-panelled doors centrally and at each end, framed with architraves and hoodboards. It features one and two-light glazing bar casements and a 15-pane fixed window, along with three two-light dormers. The dormers over the hall and parlour have boldly moulded heads, while the gables are plaintiled. A Phoenix Insurance marker is located on the center gable, and the right dormer has a raking pantiled head.

There is an axial ridge stack positioned to the left of center between the hall and parlour. The right end has an external kitchen stack that is now part of the lower ridge of the 19th-century addition, which includes an architraved six-panelled door and three-light part opening metal frame casements with nine panes on the ground floor, as well as boxed eaves. A catslide roof covers a lean-to at the back of the added bay. The left gable end features pentice boards, a two-light casement, and exposed plates and purlins. There are also lean-to additions at the rear left, which include an external stack. The interior has not been inspected.
