Description
Rectory Farm House is a farmhouse with probable origins in the 16th century. It features a floor and stack that were inserted in the 17th century, with extensions added in the 18th or 19th century and alterations made in the 20th century. The building has a timber frame that is plastered and is topped with steeply pitched pantiled roofs. Originally, it was likely a small open hall with additions at both ends, creating three cells, each with its own roof. The house has one storey and an attic, with 20th-century three-light casements and a two-light gabled dormer. There is a half-glazed, half-panelled door in the left addition, which is slightly set back. An axial ridge stack is located at the original left end, while there is a rendered external stack at the right end and an internal stack at the left end. There are also 20th-century additions to the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
