Description
Rush Green Cottage is a house dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with extensions made in the later 17th century and the 20th century. It has a timber frame that is plastered and features a thatched roof. The building consists of two cells with an end stack, and a second stack along with a slightly broader bay added to the right side. It is two storeys high. The entrance is located to the right of the original structure and features a half-glazed door and three-light glazing bar casements. The right gable end has a restored diamond mullioned window and pentice boards. An added stack at the original right end has a rebuilt cap, while the left end has an external stack that tapers to the base in a pantiled lean-to addition. There are also 20th-century additions to the rear left. The interior has not been inspected.
