Description
This is an early 19th-century statue located 5 meters southwest of the southwest corner of the moat surrounding Helmingham Hall. The statue is made of limestone and depicts a life-size female figure who is naked except for some loose drapery. She stands with her right hand resting on a natural rock and her left hand raised to her brow. The statue is set on a moulded square plinth that is about 1 meter high. It is included as Grade I in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
