Description

Little Cote is a house that likely dates back to the early 17th century. It has two storeys and features a two-cell end chimney plan. The building is timber-framed and plastered, with a roof made of machine-made clay plain tiles, which was once thatched. Inside, there is a 17th-century end chimney made of plastered red brick. The house has 19th-century small-pane casements, and there is an exposed diamond-mullioned window from around 1600 that is glazed. A boarded 19th-century door is located at the cross-entry position. There is also evidence of a side-purlin roof. The interior has not been examined.
