Description

The Crooked Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with a mid-20th century wing added to the north, connected by a short link. The building is timber framed and features modern textured plasterwork, topped with a thatched roof. It has two storeys and an attic, following a two-cell layout. The cottage includes various old casement windows and two plank doors, one located in the gable end. A central axial stack is present, and the timber frame is largely intact and exposed on the interior. The cottage also features newel stairs.
