Description

HORHAM TM 27 SW 5/40 Valley Cottage II Former farmhouse. First half of C17 with mid C20 additions to right. Timber framed and plastered with a pantiled roof. 2 storeys. 3-cell, lobby entry type. 3 windows, various C19 and C20 casements. C20 gabled porch with boarded and battened door. Internal stack with small shaft. Modernised interior with the main components of the frame exposed. Both hall and parlour have axial bridging beams and plain joists. Roof has butt and clasped purlins with arched wind bracing.
