Description
White Horse Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with later additions. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring old plasterwork on the front. The roof is mostly covered with pantiles, except for a small section at the rear that has been raised and clad in corrugated iron. The building has one and a half storeys, old casement windows, two plank doors, and two raking dormers. There are external gable stacks on both ends. To the right, there is a lower wing made of colourwashed brick with a glazed black pantiled roof. In front of this addition, there is a one-storey outhouse, which was likely originally constructed of clay lump but has been partly rebuilt using other materials, also with a pantiled roof. The interior has not been fully examined, as most of the structure is concealed. The farmhouse is included for its group value.
