Description

Three houses, likely built as one dwelling in the early or mid 16th century, possibly in two stages of construction. The houses have two storeys and a three-cell plan. They are timber-framed with a roughcast render. The roof is covered in plain tiles and features an axial chimney and an internal end chimney, both constructed of red brick. Most windows are 19th-century small-pane sashes, with two 18th or 19th-century small-pane casements located on the first storey. The front entrances are accessed via boarded doors at numbers 17 and 19, and a glazed door at number 21. Arch-braced studwork is visible internally. Number 21 contains what was originally the service cell and retains a pair of wide, blocked 16th-century shop windows with 4-centred arched heads in the gable end.
