Description

No. 82 High Street is a shop that dates back to the 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. The building has two storeys and is constructed with a timber frame and roughcast exterior. It features a plaintiled roof with a red brick chimney at the rear, which was added in the 19th century. The shop has a splayed bay window from the mid-19th century, and above it is a small-pane sash window. The entrance door is from the 19th century and has a pair of moulded panels beneath a large glazed panel. Currently, No. 82 is combined with No. 84 High Street into one shop and dwelling, but they were likely separate until at least the 19th century.
