Description

Park Villa, now known as Chapel Cottage, is a cottage dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It originally had two bays and was part of a larger house that likely included the hall cell. The building has one storey and attics, constructed with timber framing and plaster. It features a pantiled roof that was previously thatched, along with two gabled casement dormers. There are end chimneys made of red brick from the 19th or 20th century on both the right and left sides, with the left chimney being external and plastered. The cottage has mid-20th century steel small-pane casements and a boarded entrance door. Inside, some plain framing is exposed.
