Description

15 Cornhill is a late 18th century building that has been stuccoed. It stands three stories tall and features a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that do not have glazing bars, all set within stucco architraves. On the first story, the outer windows are adorned with stucco cornices, while the central window has a semi-circular arch decorated with shell ornamentation. The ground story contains 20th-century shops. The roof is slate and has a modillion eaves cornice. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 7, 8, 13, and the Golden Lion Hotel, Town Hall, and Post Office.
