Description
Westerfield House, also known as Everton School, is a late 18th century red brick house that stands two storeys high with attics. At the north end, there is a brick canted bay that rises through both storeys, featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The other windows on the west front have pointed arched heads and pointed arched lights. The entrance is accessed by stone steps and features a wooden doorcase with a semi-circular fanlight adorned with ornamental glazing bars, along with panelled reveals, panelled pilasters, and a modillion cornice. The south front has a range of four windows, with double-hung sashes with glazing bars in plain reveals on the first storey and French casements on the ground storey. The roof is hipped and tiled, with three flat-headed dormers on the west front.
