Description

Corporation Farmhouse is a 18th century or early 19th century two-storey house built on an L-shaped plan, with wings extending to the north-west and north-east. It is faced in white brick. The south-east front features a three-window range, with an additional one-window range at the north-east end. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in plain reveals. A raised brick band runs across the front between the storeys. The building has end pilasters, and the central part, which has one window range, slightly projects forward. The doorway features panelled reveals, a reeded architrave, and a cornice. The roof is hipped and tiled, with a modillion eaves soffit.
