Description
Whitton Lodge is an early 19th century house constructed of grey gault brick, featuring a timber-framed and plastered wing at the south end. The building has two storeys, with the main block displaying a three-window arrangement on the north front and a two-window arrangement on the east front, accented by corner pilasters. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plain reveals and topped with stucco cornice lintels. The wing also has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars in flush cased frames, and the ground storey includes a three-light bay on the east front. A single-storey brick porch projects from the east front of the main block, which is adorned with a stucco doorcase featuring pilasters and a cornice. At the rear, there is a bay supported by Ionic columns. The roofs are covered with slate.
