Description
The Manor House is a house dating from the 16th century with later additions. It features a timber frame, which is mainly plastered, and has a colourwashed brick crowstepped gable end on the left side. The roof is pantiled and has been re-roofed at a shallower pitch. The building is two storeys tall and was originally designed with an attic. It has a three-cell form and includes five windows that are 18th-century mullion and transom casements. The entrance has a six-panel door topped by a three-centre arched fanlight with radiating glazing bars. There is an internal stack and a rebuilt gable stack on the left side. An original mullioned window can be found in the rear wall. Attached to the back of the house is a shorter range that runs parallel to the front range, along with a single-storey service wing behind it.
