Description

This is a late 16th-century timber-framed building, originally comprising four properties, now unified as numbers 16 to 20 Quayside. The building is two storeys high with an attic, and has four gabled dormers. The timber frame is clad in modern roughcast rendering, with tile and pantile roofing to the rear. It features four windows, with three early mullion and transom casement windows. The original entranceways are characterized by plank doors. Former number 4 is now incorporated within number 16.
