Description

No. 24 Westward Ho is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is built of brick and has modern concrete pantiles on the roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic and features a three-window range. The windows are primarily three-light sashes, except for the centre window, which is a single-light sash.

The central doorway has a six-panel door with diagonal fielded panels and an architrave. Above the door is an elliptical fanlight with radiating and circular glazing bars. There are hood moulds over the door and windows, and a brick modillion cornice adorns the top. The house also has two dormers with modern casement windows.

To the right side of the house, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension, and there is a lean-to extension at the rear.
