Description
Leiston Hall is a house from the mid-17th century that has been significantly altered and modernized, and is now divided into flats. It features Dutch-style gables that are corbelled out at the eaves level. Each gable has 19th-century iron ties shaped like the letters 'L' and 'H'. The building is constructed of brick and has a roof covered with modern plain tiles. There are brick bands at the first and second floor levels. The front has two matching wings with a central connecting block. The left wing is two stories with an attic, while the right wing has a flat roof at the first floor level. The right gable end remains full height and includes a dummy window at the third floor level. The gables have one window range, while the connecting block has two window ranges. All windows are 20th-century flush sashes with glazing bars and segmental arches. The entrance features a six-panel door with a semi-circular fanlight that has radiating and circular glazing bars.
