Description
The Cupola is a house dating from the early 18th century, significantly restored in the mid-19th century when an upper storey was added. The building is constructed of brick with stucco and has a slate roof. There is a string course at the second floor level. It is three storeys high with a five-window range, where the centre bay is slightly set forward. The windows are sash style with glazing bars in flush frames and feature flat arches. A central porch from the 19th century has pilasters, an entablature, and a stone balustrade above, leading to a six-panel door. The house has a wood bracketed cornice, a hipped roof, and chimneys with oversailing courses. To the left side, there is a semi-circular bay on the return front. At the rear, there are two single-storey wings dating from the mid-18th century.
