Description

Carlton Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with an 18th-century backhouse attached to the rear. It features a timber frame that is plastered in panels and has a pantiled roof. The building is single storey with an attic and has a two-cell plan. The façade includes a two-window range with three-light casements, and there is a doorway with a four-panel door and a mid-20th-century wrought iron porch. The house has two gabled dormers and an internal stack. Notably, there are heavy arched braces in the first floor framing.
